I try to find it in every boy I meet, I think about making snowmen and then warming up under a blanket by a fire. I think about sitting in cafes, reading famous literature and stopping each other to share thoughts and insights over a piece of lemon poppyseed loaf. I think about us growing old and holding hands as we walk down a pier. I look for this in everyone. I try to find someone who I could just spend an entire day in bed with, not doing anything, not even talking, just holding hands and listening to the patterns of our breath and creating rhythms with our oxygen. I look for someone who will propose to me with a ring from a cereal box, 10 years after we get married. For someone who will pack a picnic and then get in the car with me so that we can drive until we’re tired, then  get out and watch the sunset and after make up constellations while I fall asleep in his arms.

I want so badly to be loved. To love.

I look for that everywhere.
